Real stories. Real transformation. Real hope in the hearts of Botswana’s young people.
Before CVF came to our school, I was ready to drop out. The peer educators showed me that my struggles were shared and that I had a future worth fighting for. Today I am studying nursing at UB. I owe a lot to Class Volunteers.
The CVF workshop on substance abuse opened my eyes. I lost a cousin to alcohol — and I was heading the same way. The facilitators did not judge me. They gave me tools to choose differently. I chose life.
I was a victim of gender-based violence and thought it was normal. CVF's session on gender rights and dignity changed my understanding. I found my voice and now I volunteer to help other girls find theirs.
As a school counsellor I have seen first-hand how CVF fills a gap the formal school system cannot. Learners are more open, more confident, and better equipped after their visits. We pray they keep coming.
I struggled with identity and purpose in Form 4. The CVF career development session connected me to my gifts. I am now in my final year of architecture at BIUST.
Class Volunteers Foundation embodies the African spirit of Ubuntu — that we rise by lifting others. Their work with young people is a national treasure. I urge every corporate entity to support this cause.
